Acid Wash is Back Home

It’s no secret that DoSomethingTonight.com has been a part of a team effort with Acid Wash’s success and has been very much involve with the party. We have grown along with Acid Wash and seen it move from location to location, but to be home where it all began is the biggest success we have felt. The coming together of old friends and new ones, dancing and sweating to the best old school 80s/90s music was heartwarming.
What will we all see new after 5 years of Acid Wash? “Acid Wash 2.0 will present new music, influenced by the past that we feel will stand the test of time moving forward. Our goal is to provide sounds that would be a part of this legendary dance party if it were to take place 10-15 years from now. Acid Wash 2.0 presents an open format, for a new audience, while still keeping its roots in place,” says Acid Wash creator, Vegas Mike.
On Wednesday June 8th the Re-Launch of Acid Wash 2.0 wasn’t the typical “Always A Good Time” party we've come to expect from the past, it was BETTER!

That was my actual look in the 80's.. my hair feathers perfect, like Farah Fawcett! Was blonde too back then, and yes the local girls fell all over me!”

We got the chance to check out an X1 MMA event last Saturday at Waipahu Gym. We were kind of expecting something less spectacular but holy crap we were surprised when we walked in to this.
Full lighting and sound system, an MC, video cameras filming and showing the in your face angles on a giant screen. It was crazy. I unfortunately didn't get a crowd shot when the place was packed but believe me, it was. So if you get the chance, check out an X1 event if you're into MMA. First Friday and Oil Spills

I am now finally recovered from First Friday a few days ago. Like usual, it was nuts. Hotel street was fully blocked off. It reminded me of Mardi Gras or something.
Soho was so bananas the fire marshals came and kicked half the people out and wouldnt let anyone back in.
Jesus is apparently down with First Friday too.
The outdoor area at 39 was fun as hell.
Across the street from Next Door and Thirtyninehotel there's a new spot called PYNK. Never been there before, and I've never even seen the spot so we hopped in and snapped some pics.
Apparently BP is drilling in the little pond on Hotel street now. It reminds me of the gulf, check it out next time you walk by.
Anyways, First Friday in Chinatown is a must every month so get your asses down there!

My Alarm Clock

After a decently long night of partying, wouldnt you just LOVE to get woken up at 7:30 by this "RX-60" tearing up your street? It happened to me today. I stumbled outside to take a pic and curse the heavens.
Oh, and Soho tonight is going to be friggen insane.
