BAMP Project, Hawaii's premiere concert production company presents American Idol's Season 8 runner-up and most controversial contestant to date Adam Lambert live in concert in Honolulu on Monday, October 25, 2010. Winner of the 2009 Young Hollywood Award for Artist of the Year, Lambert won the hearts of Americans nation-wide on American Idol singing hit songs including "Rock With You," "Bohemian Rhapsody," "Black or White," "If I Can't Have You," and "Whole Lotta Love" earning him millions of votes every week.
Although Lambert didn't win the Idol competition, he received far more attention than his castmates during the following months, during which he appeared on the cover of Rolling Stone and was signed by RCA. His debut album, For Your Entertainment, sold close to 200,000 copies during its first week, outdoing new releases by Rihanna and Lady Gaga in the process. A single from the album, "Time for Miracles" was also featured on the 2012 film soundtrack.
Since Idol Lambert has performed live on the Late Show with David Letterman, The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Good Morning America, The Oprah Winfrey Show, and the 2009 American Music Awards.
