What would it sound like if you took ¾ cups of distorted guitars, ½ a cup of funky basslines, a pinch of disco, garnished with some house? The final result would be the Los Angeles-based-duo known as LAZRtag.
As their popularity grew, so did the remixes. Their “Crimewave†remix for Crystal Castles hit the Hype Machine Zeitgeist list for one of the hottest tracks of April 2008. In early 2008, a collaboration to form the hit single “Work is Play†with Dani (Millionaires) led to widespread hype amongst fans worldwide.
To date LAZRtag has been featured with the following acts: The Rapture, Moving Units, Steve Aoki, The Toxic Avenger, Cut Copy, Le Castle Vania, The Institubes, Kill the Noise, Villains, Wolfgang Gartner, DJ Irene, Charles Feelgood, Disco Villains, Frankie Bones, and more.
