Neon at SOHO

As with every Nella Media Group event, NEON NEON is a fundraiser for a local non-profit organization or individual in need of support. This year the proceeds from the event will go to TWO causes, one of them being: Keep the Country COUNTRY (Defend Oahu Coalition). KCC is working together toward one goal: Protecting communities on Oahu from the dangerous effects of large-scale development. We believe that the beautiful open spaces and shorelines on Oahu are for all residents and visitors to enjoy. We are committed to ensuring that they will be a resource for generations to come.
The second cause will be for Kenneth Brimer aka Kenny. Kenny just has been diagnosed
with Chronic Lymphotic Leukemia. Kenny is known as a longtime local skateboarding (OG) in Hawaii. He has been skateboarding for well over 20 years in Hawaii and is a very well respected person within the skateboard community.
Words from Kenny:
“My name is Kenneth Brimer I've been diagnosed with Chronic Lymphotic Leukemia. The doctor says I have good chance to be elected to have stem cell transplant. You can't believe how unexpected this is, at my age (36) I have it in me to get over this.... but it seems like the fight is only half the battle. I need the fight of other people along with mine to kick this.”
