Showdown In Chinatown is Hawaii's premier underground filmmaking showcase. One of the main goals of Showdown In Chinatown is to try to improve the talent and unity of Hawaii's independent film and tv community. We hope that this creative exercise provides an opportunity for filmmakers to try new things and push their own creative boundaries. Following the short films, Showdown hosts Honolulu's only bi-monthly entertainment industry mixer. Actors, Writers, Directors, Editors, Crew Members, and film/tv fans are encouraged to come out and network with other local filmmakers.
So come check out the next SHOWDOWN IN CHINATOWN or better yet get a team together and show Honolulu a story!
