Description: New Zealand's own Three Houses Down will celebrate the release of it's sophomore CD entitled "Breakout" at the annual Ten Feet Island MusicFest on Saturday, August 22, 2009 at The Waterfront in the Aloha Tower Marketplace in Honolulu. Once again, Na Hoku Hanohano Award winner and perennial island contemporary band favorite, Ten Feet, is hosting it's own annual music festival.
Headlining the festival with Three Houses Down will be host Ten Feet. Rounding out the festival's line-up include island artists to be announced shortly. Gates will open at 7 pm.
"Three Houses Down is very excited about this album and I think everyone will be pleased with all the original songs," says Soli Mauigoa, President of Solkrush Entertainment, the band's management company. "The boys playing in Hawaii in this music fest as their last leg of their US tour is especially sweet", he added.
Three Houses Down's Breakout album is the band's 2nd album and the follow-up to the hugely popular "DreadTown" album. The 2008 S3 Pacific Awards Winning band said the Breakout album contains 12 original compositions showcasing the smooth roots reggae sounds the band is known for.
General Admission to the festival is $20 pre-sale, $25 at the door, $40 VIP. Tickets are available at all IslandTix outlets in the GCI Wireless stores, Barefoot League, and UH Campus Center, and on-line at www.islandtix.com. This is a 21-years old and older event.
